Envirosave
Gurseva was awarded the Gate Gourmet Community Fund in December 2008 for its innovative Envirosave project thanks to the Thames Community Foundation.
- Envirosave is about educating the local community on reducing, recycling, and reusing pretty much everything, thus preventing items going into landfill.
- This is a cultural cohesion project which will promote community integration and encourage people to play an active part in making our neighbourhood a better place to live.
- Through a series of workshops, leaflets and posters in the local area we will inform one another on great ways to improve the amount we use.
- Donating our unwanted items through websites such as gumtree.com and freecycle.co.uk.
- We aim to create a sense of cultural cohesion on how various cultures respect mother earth and the environment.
